Trevor came out to clean fireplace insert and stainless steel flue. He clean the fireplace insert, he checked the flue and also checked the outside of the chimney thoroughly. He answered all of my questions, was very easy to deal with. I will be using your company again next year. Thank you.

Generally, a chimney liner is installed during one day. There may be other masonry work, or crown and cap work that would add time, but most liner jobs typically take between 3 hours and a full day. When a clay liner has cracked and deteriorated tiles, a metal liner is a good call. We do install and repair clay tile liners as well. Best bet is to give us a call and we can take a look and advise.

This is common these days unfortunately. Your best bet is to ask them if they are CSIA certified chimney sweeps and ask for their full company name and address. If they are not CSIA certified they are not fully trained to do work on chimneys, stoves or furnace systems. You can go to the CSIA.org website and make sure they are certified.
