I first called NE Chimney for a chimney inspection – we recently bought an older house, one of whose chimneys needed repointing. Mark came over to do the inspection and was quite thorough, showing me pictures of the degraded chimneys and provided a list of suggested fixes (repointing, putting in a chimney cover etc). The price was quite reasonable, based on other quotes I had. After agreeing to the extra work, the NE Chimney crew came out a few weeks later. They were at my house early, finished pretty quickly and left the house (roof, grounds) as clean as it was before the job. The chimneys look fine now. Northeastern Chimney, I contracted with your company to have my chimney repointed and waterproofed. The two of your men arrived on Saturday and took the time to personally inform me what activities they would be performing. Throughout the project I would stop to speak with them in order to check on their progress. They were always very informative, corteous and professional. Upon completion of the fireplace, they took the time to make sure my house, gardens, deck, and yard were clear of any remmants from their work. We reveiwed the invoice with no surprises and I made payment by check, I personally wanted to let you know what an excellent job Tim and Mike did repairing my fireplace.
